Quotations

Quotations are given on the basis of the most suitable and on the information provided by the hirer.

The route used will be at the discretion of the Company unless it has been particularly specified by the hirer at the time of enquiry.

All quotations are given subject to the Company having available a suitable vehicle and driver at the time the hirer wishes to accept the quotation.

Quotations are valid for a maximum of 30 days from the initial enquiry.

VAT

Our services are exempt from VAT.

Parking and Other Fees

Unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation, vehicle parking, road tolls and any other incidental expenses are not included in the price of the hire and will be added to the invoice. A waiting fee may also be charged for bookings involving the vehicle and staff being required to wait at the departure, delivery or pick-up locations.

General Booking Conditions

It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all the details provided to the Company are accurate.

Where the circumstances of the booking are not consistent with the information provided by the hirer at the time of booking, a charge may be levied to cover any time, mileage, crew or equipment required to accommodate.

We also reserve the right to change, postpone or cancel a booking if the circumstances of the booking are not consistent with the information provided by the hirer at the time of booking.

The Company declines all liability for loss or convenience that may arise out of inaccurate bookings.

The Company offers its advice on journey times in good faith but does not guarantee the completion of any journey, or leg of journey, in any given time, and will not be liable for loss or inconvenience which may arise from the delay or detention of the vehicle arising from any cause whatsoever.

The Company reserves the right to levy additional charges for additional mileage or waiting time to that which has been agreed. They cannot be agreed solely with the driver on the day of travel.

If the hirer is not going to travel with the Service User, one of our team may be required to assist with transport. We will discuss and agree this with you prior to agreeing your booking.

Booking Amendments

Amendments to your booking are permitted no later than 7 days prior to hire unless authorise a late amendment. We take no responsibility for amendments made unless issued with a new booking confirmation. Please note that in some instances, a major change (such as dates or collection times) will be classed as a cancellation and will apply accordingly. An Amendment Fee may be charged for any amendment made to your booking. An amendment fee will be in charged addition to any amendment costs resulting in an increase or decrease of the cost of hire. Should we be unable to proceed with an amendment and you wish to cancel your booking our standard cancellation policy will apply, in line with your original booking.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is generally required prior to any transport taking place

Cancellation by the Client

A refund in full of any payments, including any deposit paid, will be returned to the hirer if the Company receives notice of the cancellation at least 7 days before the date of the booking. No refund will be given by the Company to the Hirer if the Hirer cancels a booking less than 7 days prior to date of booking.

Cancellation by the Company

In the event of any emergency, riot, civil commotion, strike, lock out, stoppage or restraint of labour or the happening of any event over which the Company has no control (including adverse weather and road conditions) the Company reserves the right to cancel any hire. In such circumstances we will endeavour to provide as much notice of cancellation as possible. In such an instance, no charge would be made to the hirer, and any monies paid by the hirer to the Company will be returned, but the Company declines all liability for loss or inconvenience suffered as a consequence of such action.
